In rotary blowers, multiple cavities are mounted separately in blowing stations, which rotate at high speeds producing hundreds of bottles per minute. Blow moulds for linear machines

In linear blowers, multiple cavities are mounted on a common plate which is fixed on the machine plate. The entire assembly closes and then the preforms are positioned automatically. The assembly opens and freshly blown bottles comes out in a single line! The most common configuration in linear blowers is in the range 4 to 6 cavity, but the latest high-speed linear blowers have 8 to 10 cavities mounted in a row and are capable of producing over 10000 bottles in an hour.
