Plastic bottles and containers are used for the packaging of water, soda, juice, oil, jams, confectionary, medicines, liquor and personal and home care products. The size of containers varies from a few hundred millimetres to several litres.

At Awanti we manufacture blow moulds. Moulding is of various types: extrusion moulding, injection moulding and blow moulding. The process of making plastic bottles from moulds is called stretch blow moulding.In this process, a pre-heated plastic tube is inserted into the mould and blown with high-pressure air, due to which it expands vertically and radially to take the shape of the mould.
